At Altagram, we are seeking a talented part-time Junior Localization Engineer to join our APAC team. In this role, you will support the project management team by analyzing and preparing localization kits. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and use industry-standard tools such as memoQ and Plunet, all while working remotely within the APAC time zone.

YOUR ROLE

Conduct thorough analysis and preparation of diverse source files and formats to optimize localization project workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, assisting with repetitive and specialized tasks to increase efficiency.
Participate in internal calls to support localization engineers and project managers, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
Provide comprehensive support to the team in using tools and resolving technical challenges.

Your profile

Experience in localization processes or localization engineering.
General knowledge of localization tools; experience with memoQ is an advantage for ensuring efficient project execution.
A solid grasp of regular expressions is essential for this role, facilitating precise text manipulation and localization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
A proactive and independent mindset, with the ability to solve problems and make decisions autonomously.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in localization.
Familiarity with standard software, particularly MS Office, with a focus on Excel for data management and analysis.
Familiarity with the principles of internationalization and globalization, enhancing the ability to work in diverse markets.
